Re: How do i permote my site

If you don't wish to promote your site with social networks, you have the following options:

(1) Use ads: pay-per-click ads, banner ads, text links, advertise on other people's blogs

(2) Write a guest post with some useful, detailed information on a blog that's already getting targeted traffic and have a link to your website

(3) Use traffic exchanges or text ad exchanges. They're free. Best for sites related to making money online.

(4) Do a bit of article marketing. Go on to a site that has a lot of backlinks like Ezine Articles, Go Articles, info Barrel (pays you to write), Bukisa (pays you to write), Triond (pays you to write), etc.

(5) If your website has a service you provide, then have a press release written. You can write and submit your own press release for free at free-press-release.com. It does a great job of bringing backlinks to your site. Free ones are a little bit relaxed on format. However, professional press release sites are very particular about how you create an online press release.

(6) When in doubt, head over to Kim Roach's blog at Buzzblogger.com. She is a traffic addict and has great traffic ideas.

Benefits of Pay-Per-Click

Small initial investment

In general the search engines don't charge anything to insert a PPC advertisement. They may have a small initial fee to set up an account, but after that you only have to pay each time someone actually clicks on your ad. It's like joining a gym and only paying for each pound you lose - who wouldn't go for that?
Set your own budget

With PPC advertising, you can tailor your budget to your sales goals and how aggressive you would like to be, keeping you from wandering over budget or getting in over your head.
PPC advertising levels the playing field

Even if your business is comprised of three people and a basement office (hey, that's how we started), you can still compete with national chains.
Instant gratification

Okay, we've warned you about companies that promise immediate search engine ranking, but PPC is the exception to the rule. Because of the nature of PPC ads, you can get top placement virtually at once. What's more, you'll get results (and we mean sales) more quickly than with Natural SEO methods.

Real-time "Trackability"

We make sure your PPC campaign stays as effective and efficient as possible by tracking keyword and phrase successes (and losses), which ads bring in the most traffic (and which are duds), conversion rates and more. By doing this, you can be assured that your PPC ads are operating at maximum levels, especially since we can make any necessary changes immediately. Compare this to other forms of advertising, where results can take months to determine and changes can take additional weeks to implement.
National exposure

Since both Google and Yahoo!, along with their network partners, claim to reach 80% of Internet users, placing a PPC ad on one of those engines will ensure your site is getting out there - and we're talking Nome, Alaska, out-there.

Increase local visibility

So maybe you own a gym or a hair salon, or maybe you run a small landscaping company. Even though your clients are going to be exclusively local, PPC is still a worthwhile investment for you. By carefully crafting and targeting your site's campaign, you can pre-qualify your site's traffic based on location or other factors to make sure you are driving the right people to your site. Learn more about local PPC.
Honest-to-goodness marketing

If your business is new to the market, your site has been re-designed or launched recently, or you just want people to know who you are, PPC is for you. PPC ads are posted at the very top and down the right side of search engine results - prime real estate on the page that draws the eye right away.

Factors to Transform Skepticism to Success While Working From Home

In the work at home sector of the economy, many people are skeptical that it is possible to work at home making more money in less time in most cases than it is possible in a normal 9 to 5 job. The key enabler in this has been the arrival of the internet. This has facilitated an explosion of opportunities for individuals to work at home while having more quality time with their loved ones. In many cases, this doesn't require you to work more hours than you would in a regular office job and in many cases for those just looking to supplement your existing income can be done at your convenience during the hours that you have free.

All that is required is a clear vision of what you are looking to achieve, a computer with an internet connection and some initial sweat equity at the beginning in order to be up and running within 30 days and already showing a significant income in your bank account. One of the real benefits of a work at home opportunity is that it allows you to basically pay yourself. If you desire, as you scale up your activities up you can transform a five figure income into a six figure income. Another nice aspect about working from home is that you can focus on subjects or topics that are of interest to you. You then have the flexibility to find the balance between attaining a comfortable level of income and having time available to spend with loved ones, the perfect work life balance.

Depending on your preferences, it is very possible to make a few hundred dollars within the next 24 hours, and build from there. For others, it will take some time to find the best position with accompanying remuneration with which they are happy. I'm sure that you have heard about how there a significant numbers of persons who are earning really big incomes working over the internet. In most cases, this came after many years of effort on their behalf. If you are interested in becoming a big earner, you will need to do some research and find those areas of the work at home space that will allow you to develop that level of income. Two areas that I have identified that offer the potential for earning a large income in work at home are blogging or affiliate marketing. In both cases, you are identifying a niche that has the potential to generate significant amount of sales and then promoting products that are aligned with that particular niche. In the case of a blog, you would develop a series of blog entries around the particular niche in question. In the case of affiliate marketing, you are primarily focused around the landing page where either you are making a sales pitch or a squeeze page which is a shorter sales pitch and a free gift to the potential customer. In both cases, you can still do this while working from home.

If you decide to do either blogging or affiliate marketing, there are other key factors that will need to consider in order to be successful in these areas such as understanding how search works, basics of marketing, etc. You don't have to become a marketing or search expert but you will need to understand the basics of it, as in any profession in order to become successful at it. Re: Sunday Chuckle

Read the title line below very carefully because this is exactly how it showed up in my email. I mean how stupid are these people:

Yahoo!Rogers Scam Update mailto:[email protected]

Dear Customer,

Your E-mail account has exceeded its limit and needs to be verified, if not verified within 24 hours, we shall suspend your account.

All Yahoo User Should Click here to verify your email account now

Now, as if putting the word "Scam" in there wasn't bad enough, if it's coming from my ISP, wouldn't the return email be their's and not another ISP??

The simplest way is to right click the link and select "Properties".
If it's no follow, it'll say so.
Sometimes you'll get a "varies properties".
Properties has been removed from right click in the newest versions of FF, but you CAN put it back.New To Earning Online? Do Yourself a Favor. Start Here

It is very easy to identify which post give nofollow or dofollow backlinks. Just you need to select the link and right click on that link. After that select the option of "view selection code", it will show you nofollow or dofollow attribute.Marketing Consulting Firm | Online Marketing Agency | Online MarketingUser avatar

Re: Hi Everyone

Hi Tyler you had two introductions going on here and one got deleted along with my post to you. You had asked about what to do with businesses that are avail. So I am reposting my post here for you.

It all depends on what your interests are. If you find something you enjoy doing it will be better for you. If you don't enjoy doing something you won't do it for long. It is like a job you hate going to. Also remember you have a time committment. How much time do you have to dedicate to it. Plus how much money do you have to invest in it? You have to look at those things as well. There are alot of opportunity out there. Having said that be careful because there is even more scams out there to take your money. Don't believe all the hype on the sales page. Riches over nite etc. They all say that. It is geared to your emotional side and we have all fallen for it. ALWAYS ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH before parting with your money. You can come back here and search and see if anyone knows anything about that particular opportunity. Or you can always ask and give the link to the site for us to investigate and give our opinion. That is what is great about these forums they keep you safe for the most part. You can also check out some of the signatures that show when people post their replys. (located under their post usually one or two lines) They are usually clickable links that take you to some other site to read about their business or e-book or whatever. You usually have to give your name and an e-mail for you to become part of their mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time if you arn't really interested in getting their follow up messages.

Hopes this helps you some. Wishing you the best success for whatever you decide to do.

Re: What do you look for in a MLM Company?

I look for a company that can ensure my future. I've personally gone over some great land mines for a 2.6 years and the experience really becomes priceless in knowing what the perfect company is.

I personally love Health & Nutrition as i'm a firm believer in staying healthy and feeling young.

What is important to me is needing the fewest amount of reps to reach a set income level. A company that won't change their payplan thankfully I won't have to worry about that again.

Products that are in peer review journals that don't use petroleum machines that have toxins and pharmaceutical bottles

I tell folks either invest in your health today or give into the pharmaceutical drug company's later when arising issues occur. The biggest thing that holds people back is in the fear of can I do this and the lack of belief in growing into a capable leader. Growing into a leader takes some work we become forged and shaped with time as we take action steps in our journey to success.

I look at the credentials of a the company are they in the DSA & BBB? What have they done for the world?

What is their time line ? Meaning how long have they been in business...

I look for retention, my old company the attrition was bad as fast as they came they left so this is important and usually retention comes from company's that have been around the block for some time.

I also understand that money circulates only around a high quality vibrational food supply and not synthetic vitamins and likely 90% of mlms offer just that so it is key to know this and so much more... I keep countless pdf files of education when choosing a mlm company.

The way a lot of products are made many company's use cheap methods and they use a heating process that destroys the enzymes and nutrients and so people pay for something that is not alive and active.

What I love about ours is they use a cooling process to preserve the nutrients so they are alive and active.

Thanks for reading

Ronnie
